    With a keen eye for opportunity and a passion for property restoration, Sarah loves to enhance both the look and the functionality of homes. She has renovated a succession of her own homes over the years and founded Proper Job Properties to create homes that others would love.

    Her background in system and people development, combined with her commitment to doing things the right way, helps ensure projects are run efficiently and to a high standard. Sarah is the one always looking for the next purchase, scoping the work required and keeping the projects flowing for the team. She also manages the renovation costs to ensure investors get an excellent return on their money.

    Sarah knows the value of property investment and is a strong advocate for young people to be able to purchase their own home. She also values having a balance between older, quality homes and new developments in a neighbourhood.

    Neil is a natural people person and experienced coordinator, who brings a wealth of management expertise to Proper Job Properties. With a strong background in managing complex processes and a commitment to transforming neglected houses into homes that people genuinely love, he approaches every project with focus and intention. He’s passionate about keeping projects on track, to ensure the team produces great, quality homes at a fair price. Known for his no-nonsense attitude and drive for quality, Neil ensures that every project has the right person assigned to each task, and that they have not only the capability but the capacity and the right attitude. He has built an awesome team that will continue to grow as the business grows.

  • Head of Design (Dip.Int.Des)

    Ysabel joined Proper Job Properties after completing her New Zealand Diploma in Interior Design (Residential). Her approach is rooted in both creativity and practicality, with an eye for turning tired homes into beautiful and considered spaces.

    She brings a sharp eye and high standards to every project, working closely with trades on-site to ensure every detail is beautifully executed. From sourcing the right finishes and fittings to refining exterior details, Ysabel makes sure every part of the home feels intentional.

    Highly skilled in CAD and technical design, she turns ideas into clear, buildable plans—creating homes that are functional, timeless, and ready for their next chapter.
